European Spallation Source (EES) has chosen Examec in one of their first mechanical procurements.
This first purchase is of an enclosure for a Neutron Chopper, a rotating mechanical device that interrupts the output beam of neutrons mechanically, to provide bursts or pulses of neutrons in the accelerator. The equipment will be used to ensure that research tests can be performed in a safe way.
